Foo Fighters - THESE DAYS - Atlanta, GA 11/7/11

This video was filmed by my good FOO friend, Debra K Manuel. This is at the 11/7/11 show at Gwinnett Arena in Duluth, GA. (YES..we drove to see this!) :) This particular song, 'These Days', is off the Foo Fighters latest CD, 'WASTING LIGHT'! BEST album of 2011...you should already have it by now! I've just recently gotten into the Foos and I pretty much LOVE everything I've heard. BUT...if I was pinned down and forced to choose only one song that is my favorite...it would have to be this one! From the moment I first heard this song, and everytime I've heard it since...it's like a damn emotional roller coster! It builds up to the most beautiful, powerful, emotional chorus! Such a simple but very truthful lyric... 'one of these days, your heart will stop, and play it's final beat..but it's alright....' How could you not LOVE IT? Imagine my surprise when I heard Dave Grohl tell the crowd 'This is my favorite song I ever wrote in my whole life'. I completely understand and have to agree with him on this one. LOL!
