Based on a claim that his pro-labor policies and higher than usual nominal wages stagnated industrial production.

The only problem with the claim is that the effect usual effect on wages does not occur in a liquidity trap, and production still surged.

I gave it another read, and still came to the same conclusion, not to mention that these guys are noted FDR bashers.

Google: even more nominal wages krugman

Krugman? That's all I needed to hear. Quoting Krugman is like quoting Hannity or Limbaugh. I'm afraid this is your stop and your credibility gets off here.

Except Paul Krugman is a Nobel Laureate and notable Keynesian economist. I can also go with Alan Blinder too?

Hannity and Rush are not Nobel Laureates, nor college graduates.

Believe it or not, Paul Krugman is a credible economist, political views aside.

Cole and Ohanian are notable FDR bashers, and the only praise they received was from a freshwater school economist (University of Chicago).

These guys are a distinct minority in the economic and historical community. Similar to conspiracy theorists and historians who refer to the Civil War as the "War of Northern Aggression."

The point is that the gap in the economy is filled the economy grew 3.5% for the third quarter, which is usually the precedent for job growth.

Even though many economists disagreed with whether the government should bail out the banks or not, everyone agreed there was a void in the economy, and someone had to fill it.

Bush, Obama, and McCain decided that a banking bailout was the right way to go (I personally disagreed with the decision because I am a proponent of demand-side stimulus, not supply-side), and the economy is now beginning to stabilize.

I cannot believe I just gave Bush credit, but I did.
