If MiB is Esau, Jacob's brother in the bible, I think this could be Isaac who was Jacob's and Esau's father. MiB mentioned that his mom was crazy and caused him issues that he's still working out. Perhaps he considers her crazy for tricking Isaac in to giving Jacob the birthrite which is the Island. Since MiB(Esau) is mad about this, he killed their Mother and did something to their father. This'd be why the cabin is surrounded by ash that repels the smoke monster and why Isaac says help me.

I read in some Lost forum that some people think there are two statues on the island b/c what that one looks like in the time flash and what one looks like when jacob is talking to his nemesis. Some people say those are different statues, but idk

I think the guy in the chair is Locke in a different timeline, and the reason for all that shaking and stuff was because the same peole from different times need to keep a certain distance from each other, and they were to close :s Just another theory...
