  • Hi robertodeangelis, you look like you know a bit about 3ds max so can you help me, im new to 3ds max and i recently got some V-Ray materials and i dont know how to get them to work i followed a few instructions on various websites but still no luck...when i try to select the material through material editor/library it shows up as a missing material and something to do with dll's missing or not supporting the renderer, sorry for the lack of detail please can you help...well anyway nice vid 5/5.

  • v-ray is a no-standard rendering engine, you have to install it in your max version as a plug -in. if v-ray is not installed you can't see v-ray material. i advise you to use mental ray that you can find in each max version as standard rendering engine.
