i think thatwas a good idea of not puttin this in the movie cuz it was shocking to me wen she shot the two zombies an quaters went flylin an i was suprised an was like nowonder she has quaters lol but im glade they didnt use this cene :)

it has to be experimental gunpowder is my guess, given that's an odd prediction, technically in all the crazy facilities Alice has been in, its more than likely she ran into something that gives her weapons (the akimbo shotguns) more power for the yield to actually fire off a roll of quarters, pretty sure they left this scene out of the movie so less people would question the nature of the gun(s) them self

@Justinian43 the magnum wasn't putting out more lead / metal, the axe man in previous scenes (at the gate) was taking in head shots from a relatively close range from a different pistol, granted the magnum's power, its just not dishing out a modified roll of quarters, coming from a more than likely modified gun itself, with probably modified powder, given the breakdown ability shotgun shells have for such modification. she probably had to use her own ammo, cause regular shells were scarce too

basically the argument on its accuracy, you got to note, 1 scene (both shotguns are going off very big spray *prob 4 barrels going off 2 per gun* big spray and thus the 4-5 zombies killed at the same time that go. other scene where it was accurate, she wasn't running, she was standing still, aimed, and shot just 1 shotgun (maybe both barrels going off) so it would be more accurate and a more smaller spray given she isn't running, thus the AXE guy gets decapitated

the shotgun itself is prob modified, extra large/short length barrel, powder has to be a mixed composition with some sort to makes it more volatile, think the one scene where she shot both shotguns akimbo @ the same time, it looked inaccurate though its just a large spray and she was running, so handling is a factor on its accuracy, that and she shot one big blast, might have been all 4 barrels at once in that scene, vs the shower scene where it was just 1 gun and maybe 1 or 2 barrel shots
