Several areas around the world have rich histories in the logging industry. Beverly, WV, is just such an area. Two generations ago, loggers and settlers used axes and crosscut saws to clear the land or mill timber. Lumberjack or Loggers Sports evolved from the hard work those settlers employed. Today these events are remembered by such events as ESPN's Stihl Timbersports Series and other fanastic Lumberjack Sporting events.
