Under Used Elites: Wastrel's Collapse

Sorry i havent made a video in awhile. I had apendicitis and couldnt think of any new ideas.

The newly buffed Wastrel's Collapse is receiving very little attention. The concept of the skill is outrageous, an assassin's dream. An instant shadowstep and knockdown combo! Unfortunantly other combos over shadow this skills possibilitys.

So i made a spike build for it and boy is it fun. Defense is lacking and the usual anti melee stuff still aplies but it certainly is fun. The spike is a cool 6 seconds normally.

Skills: Wastrel's Collapse
Tiger Stance
Falling Spider
Twisting Fangs
Golden Phoenix Strike
Blades of Steel
Way of Perfection
Ressurection Signet or Dash or Shadow Refuge

Find a relativly soft target or a target you want to harrass. Wait until theyve just cast something then use Wastrel's Collapse to give a good chance it doesnt fail. Use Tiger Stance quickly after casting Wastrel's and use your chain. Way of Perfection is your enchantment for Golden Phoenix Strike. Wastrel's can also be used on a target to interupt their flow of casting and to slow them down a bit or as a quick snare to assist kiting allies.

Attributes: 12+1+3 Dagger Mastery
11+2 Critical Strikes
6 Shadow Arts

its like the same thing except recharge is different. You'll be spiking with wastrel's collapse every 20 seconds anyway so either one would be fine.

The problem of this skill is that it's hard to find someone who isn't using a skill, and once you find that someone and blow off your chain, you're basically useless.

Also, Locust's Fury doesn't see real use these days, and making a build for it for PvP makes the assassin who's using it a laughingstock.

orly? me and my friend made an awesome TA build where an assassin basically did all of the damage with a Locust's Fury build. The build involved an ele, sin, and 2 monks. It was amazing! the sin killed ppl in about 3 seconds. It doesnt work now and i only got to use it once. The strength and honor nerf lowered the damage drastically.

So, ill see you laughing at me while i kill you in 3 seconds.

HAHA Almost all sins are using palm strike, as always, wastrel's is still underused, I don't know what guild wars you've been playing.

Me and some friends put together some really kickass Wastrels Collapse builds in the summer of 08.

Now almost all the sins are using Wastrels. =/
