Another pattern by Malmsteen. I'm using for the RH: a-( )-i-p-i-m. This exercise helped me with some passages of the Villa-Lobos etude.

The next exercise will be a descending scale.

  • Wow man did you study with anyone?

  • I've had several teachers (for example Juan Sorroche in Puerto Rico, or Brigitte Zaczek in Vienna) but this stuff is what I used to play when I was in a band in the 90s.

  • this is malmsteen who copied from classical music not the classical music these licks have existed for years b4 yngwie came

  • Is this your own exercise. Sounds a little like Yngwie Malmsteen stuff. Very nice slur exercise and great harmonic minor sound :) Keep up the good work!!
