( NaNoWriMo 2009 ) Day 04.

A bit of a disappointing day for me :( I also cut off my "Hello", damn. So I do greet everyone, I just... miscalculated! Oops. Clumsy me. For the record, I listened to the Transformers movie score once again today; I don't talk about my music in this video, I ran out of time, but yes, I had another go-around of my top inspirational CD in an attempt to boost my word count.

Today's snippet!:

Together the four moved without sound down the line of the trees, moving like the shadows that surrounded them. Only one of them was not dark-haired but her usually curled locks were pulled back in a tight length at the back of her skull. It did not hide the fact that she was blonde, but it was less noticeable now, pulled back and more discreet. With the precision of a trained unit they dropped down into crouches side by side away from the rest of the pack, at an angle from the mansion, gazing out from the gloom of the trees and bushes around them.

It was Sofia who spoke first, Felipe to her left on the outside, the female turning dark eyes to her right, to Cole, "Are we to attack?"

"No. We just need to know more."

"If provoked?" she went on, almost deviously hopeful. There was a touch of a grim smile to her lips when Cole turned to look at her. Sofia was the youngest amongst them, never one to miss a fight, regardless of just who was involved. She had been branded as rebellious more than once in her years but Cole trusted in her, and on top of that, Felipe never had a bad word to say about her, or her efficiency. That was enough for the leader of the small scouting band.

"If there is no way to escape without one, then yes, we fight." Cole felt Elsabeth's eyes flicker in his direction but did not acknowledge her or whatever attitude she was currently sporting. "But we avoid trouble as long as possible. Get close, learn what we can, and return."

That seemed to satisfy Sofia, who nodded, sending wisps of black hair straying over her pale olive cheeks. She glanced once to Felipe who nodded to her. Their shoulders were touching, Cole noticed, but he had known for some time that there was more to the pair than a simple friendship. There was a subtle energy that wrapped around them whenever they were together, any wolf worth their salt could detect it.

"We follow your lead," Elsabeth all but whispered from the right and Cole dipped his head in an acknowledgement.

Like I said to someone on my last video, I think a good deal of my 13K is waffle :/ Not sure how I feel about it, but we'll see!

I have a cheap Logitech, but you know what, I did just turn the lense and you're right, it does change the focus! Haha, I did not know that. Go me!

Holy crap, thirteen thousand?! I'm at 7,087.

Also, what kind of camera/webcam do you have? You might be able to turn the lense to make it more in focus (unless you don't want it to be in focus... haha).
