so i left my computer on all night like usual. but this time there was a black screen saying
"Remove disks or other media.Press any key to restart."
every time i restart it says the same thing
do i need to re-install windows?

I have dell gx270 i had lost my windows xp cd but i have original keys and will u help me how can i get it again my pc window is showing problems i want to change it but i lost my cd :( plz help me.......

@01sean you could but there will be Dell files. And you would also need a product key witch you probably have.

@TutorialGuyOfficial I sure hope you got this handled without me :) Anyway, If I understand correctly you needed to install the driver and a third party was likely involved - so their website or a quick google search for the driver should have resolved your problem.

@tekany i am the administrator. i think i have solved the problem in that i need a wireless nework card to place into my computer.
this computer never has being wireless so i think that is all it needs . am i correct?
last night when i install windowns xp pro on my laptop now everything is too big.

@Booboo201999a Install the video drivers and then right click on the desktop to set the dimensions. The video drivers are either on discs you received from Dell or on their website (search for drivers using your computer version or the Service Tag).

i reformat my husband's dell laptop after all the procedure has done and the windows xp appear i checked the network connections but LAN does not appear.what will i do pleasehelp me i cant browse to the internet .

@rosspaz1999 You need to add the driver for the LAN manually. If you have your original drivers disc, just install the drivers it knows work on that machine. If you don't, you'll need to go online and download the LAN drivers for that device.
Dell => Drivers and Suppoer => Choose your computer make/model or Service ID.
