What a Christian is supposed to do is tell the good news; if you are harping on him, and at least he brought scripture on his behalf, how much less should I consider you, not having any word from the bible for him? Your merely asked questions; that is a debate. You don't come to spread Christ's word, you just wanted to argue. If you want to correct him, show him where he is wrong form the bible. But oh: then you would be doing exactly what he is doing. So therefore, how can I call him wrong?
Where it says in the Bible you have to be baptized in order to enter the kingdom of heaven: John 3:3-5 "Jesus answered and said to him, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mothers womb and be born?
Jesus answered, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."

"Water" is the water of birth, the water of the womb of the earthly mother. Jesus is teaching and correctly that a person must be born of flesh and then of spirit.
"Water baptism" is a mere work that brings no righteousness or justification before God with it.

kwerky, do you really want to hold to the position that the last part of Mark is not apart of the Bible? that my friend is a steep slope. I'd like to debate you regarding baptism.

The earliest manuscripts do not have the last several verses of Mark. They only appear in manuscripts dated 2 and 3 centuries later. There is also considerable internal textual evidence that those verses were a later addition.
So there.

that is simply not true, they are in 3 of the 4 major greek text which are used to put together the english Bible any textual scholar will tell you that there is good evidence for Mark 16. Don't abuse a small detail in order to rid yourself of what the Bible says please.

If you are referring to the so-called "Textus Receptus", then you are in trouble 'cuz that was one of the slip-shoddiest pieces of scholarship in the history of anything. Erasmus only had some very late manuscripts to work from... and he was in a rush to translate because he was trying to win a contest!
Again, the last verses of Mark are in high probability late additions and not from the original text.
