For the sixth year in a row, Japan's Takeru Kobayashi wins Nathan's international hot dog eating competition, while setting a new record by devouring 53 3/4 hot-dogs in 12 minutes.

A crowd of 25,000 watched 27-year-old Kobayashi take his sixth annual July 4 hot-dog eating title at Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York. His arch rival Joey Chestnut from San Jose, California, managed 52 hot-dogs.
