@yella29 If you have the desire to make something and you try to do just that, you are an engineer.
-
Type of the sub is VIIC/41,scale 1;35, the tubes are made from copper tubing.

Type and scale of sub and components used to make torpedo launchers. Please it is so complex looking I love it.

wont water come in if the doors do not open in a water tight area

@loco4locos1, it doesn't matter if the water will get inside the wet part, it is build that way to allow that, all connections are sealed with O rings on the bulkhead so water can not penetrade the water tight area

Just watched all your videos most impressive.
Building a working RC sub is a true engineering feat but building one with working torpedoes is something else.
I wish I had some of that skill.

Thanks,
Building electric torpedo's was not so difficult, to solve the problem of firing the torpedo's is the difficult part on building rc subs.

what happened to the spring type mechanism you put to keep the doors shut? didn't work out with the servos?

I still use the springs for shutting the doors, but i made a differend kind of spring for it.
The first springs were to heavy for the servo's to pull the doors open, now it's working smoothly
