Elephant suffers from neurosis, so he bobs his head in boredom. Elephants are social animals with deep ties to their herd, this is what happens to them in captivity after they are cruelly separated from their family. Now they want to put 8 more captive elephants in the enclosure

  • He's in must. That's why he's alone.

  • It is not the right of mankind to have animals in captivity, not at all, in any case, in any species at all!

  • They need to retire Billy to a sanctuary

  • Aw x

  • I wanna take this video, make the background noise silent. Then throw in a calm reggae jam.

  • I wanna take this video.. Make the background noise silent, and throw in a raggae jam.

  • Poor Elephant :( this is so sad to see. In PR Zoo same history.

  • @lavender880 this video is extremely depressing....EXTREMELY. I'm disgusted that educated people would allow it to get to this point without stepping in to take immediate action! I couldn't agree more with you Lavendar880 this elephant deserves some dignity.

  • A Great sanctuary is in Hohenwald, TN. They should send him there, poor guy.

  • Elephants or humans, locked up in a small space, for decades, & both neurosis & psychosis will develop. All you could do is pace back & forth, back & forth for years & decades. Some bulls in the while stay alone, for some time, because they PREFER it that way: they get to roam around, FREELY, hundreds of sq. miles; & when females are in heat, they can fight their way there & mate & pass on their genes. No such things are possible in human zoos, typically 50 x 80 or so sq.ft. cages. Nightmares...

  • @lavender880 yeah like the wolverine humping the tree..... wheres Hugh Jackman when you need him lol

  • Elephants are very family oriented and need to be in a group, they get lonely just like us. He needs to be with other elephants!!!!
