I wanted to go back and make a vid with the car in finished form as far as looks. It is painted now and I have blacked out the emblems on the back. All the underhood pieces are installed now. All the interior pieces are installed including the boost controller,GT500 steering wheel and aluminum pedals. I've also switched to GT500 wheels and tires along with a muffler swap. Thats pretty much it for looks. All I have left is more boost and finishing up the fuel system.
Thanks Mike

  • not a fan of clones.........

    but very nice stang man!!!

  • Yeah the article in MM&FF was called " Clone wars "...

  • i cant believe im going to say this but wouldn't it have been cheaper to buy a gt500? lol btw it looks tight!!!

  • I completely agree with you on this it probably would have been cheaper to by a gt500 but then where would be that sense of pride when someone says wow amazing car and you think yeah it is and i built. Not argueing here just saying. Amazing car man how about we see some dyno runs or 1/4. Keep up the good work!

  • Well the car was built to be able to run the Texas Mile, but job loss at the beginning of the year has pretty much put a halt to everything.

  • The wife wouldn't let me start over with car payments, so when the motor let go I built this.

  • i guess when u have so much money u dont know what else to do with it so u put all those fuckin performance parts into a shelby which has enough power as it is bro ur gonna kill urslef!!!!

  • wow that is one sick addition to the dashboard

  • @huntergluck yea exactly .must have surprised the shhit out of you.lol

  • @wellshii yeah I remember getting beat by an RS camaro (90's body) on the highway. I thought he was crazy then he hit the gas and unleashed that V8.

  • @huntergluck yea if anything i would de badge, sleeper .i wanted to this to my gt,even cut off one of the pipes to make it look a v6....now thats a money maker

  • @543VTT BTW my little tid bit wasn't meant to be a diss. Opinions are like assholes you know. Hell I have a shaker hood on a GT convertible and I'm sure Mach 1 fans hate it lol.

  • @wellshii You took the words out of my mouth. I can understand if people take styling cues from other models but I dislike when people badge something that isn't. For instance I have 03 cobra rims on my GT but i paid extra to put pony center caps on them instead of using SVT center caps or even my Saleen blower I have but don't badge. I'm proud of what my car is and if I wanted a cobra then I will buy one. People who badge Saleen, Roush, and SVT on base models and GT's are just perpetrating.

  • I like your car alot!!!

  • @543VTT I thought this was the car. It's pretty slick, I'd rather go this way than a GT500 anyways, looks better too.

  • I don't care what anybody says. You earned those shelby badges
