i recommend using thicker pvc for long weapons, as it will be more stable. 3/4 pvc should be perfect for these weapons, providing almost no whip. look online at guides such as swordtag.org, they have lots of good and easy to understand weapon guides, and their weapons look pretty good for being pvc and duct tape. dont be discouraged by the comments on your videos, you will get better as you fight, and if you really like boff you will want to get better on your own.

hes using the "spear" more like a very long handled mace try whatching some spear fighting vidios you will see how to hold that spear right in the first five seconds of a fight.
