Fall Day - Canning

Today was just so perfect. Liam and I were in the garden harvesting potatoes. I canned all day long: black beans, corn, baked brown beans and sweet and sour meatballs - oh, and Taco Soup which I'll finish tomorrow. Auntie called us to go pick corn, which we did and Liam picked a sunflower too and then we came home and sat on the lawn and shucked the corn - Liam grabbing handfulls of corn to eat and playing in the yard - we could hear tractors and combines and kids laughing. Perfection - again. I thank God for each of these wonderful days I have with Liam. I have never been happier. "If I could put time in a bottle..." but, this is the next best thing.
