CBS News (like MSNBC, NBC, and CNN) read this report like a press release directly from the White House. No scrutiny, they just reflexively took the Obama statement as gospel and gave maximum cynicism to the Republican proposal.

The LAST such proposal won Republicans both houses in Nov 1994. All the Republicans actually pledged was to follow the Constitution and listen to the will of the people.

I guess the Obama Ministry of Truth didn't like that.

Its not about either party. All partys are at fault!!! Every person in a political position for the past decade is at fault!!!
