2007 Monte Carlo LS 3.5L Stalls while Driving. I have not resolved this issue yet. It does not do it all the time. It does what you see in the video then it will not do it for another couple weeks and then it will do it again. Must be a sensor but the computer does not read the codes.

My Evap went as well but that minor issue. My friend owns a shop so my price is not like a guy coming from the street. I paid in total prob 275ish (CDN) for pipes and muff and about 100 for the new tips. The shaft issue is a common problem in most new GM cars/trucks, it makes the steering wheel clunk. Not a saftey issue just a annoying issue. bad bushings make it clunk. Thanks for the comment on the car. I work at it slowly and take my time at my work.

His Monte is at 70,000 miles and the only issue he has had is a bad EVAP Vent Solenoid that died around 60K. I have never heard of the steering shaft issue, what exactly happened to it? My friend really wants the magnaflow dual setup. How much was yours to install and do you know a good source for the kit? You have a very nice car btw.

All my Mods are realy Audio (see other videos for that) and lighting. The exhaust I have is custom. Well I have the a a Factory Y pipe with Knock Off Flow Masters. Its loud and kind of annoying on the highway. Your friend have issues with his? I have a steering shaft issue. Mine was replaced 3 times so far. Other then the ground issue and the steering shaft thats it for me.

  • I'm glad to hear you got it all sorted out. My friend owns an 07 3.5 also. What exhaust system does your car have and do you have any other mods?

  • @SVTtorX

Well after a long fight(about a month) GM found the issue. The factory ground that attached to the tranny, close to the starter.

  • This may come a little late but did you check your engine grounds?
