but yeah I saw her on Tony Bourdain. Good idea to cook thematically what you have experienced a lot as a child, though on the show she made herself seem sort of damaged. Food looks LOOKS delicious.
Prune is the best restaurant in NY for me, it holds up and although her fare has been copied many times since she opened, Gabrielle's menu always feels like a revelation
One of the few truly approachable chefs. Most of my fellow culinary students have bloated egos and those are just the pastry chefs. Her restaurant was dazzlingly elegant yet simple. I was even impressed by how when she beat Bobby flay on Iron Chef she took her time to carefully select her ingredients even with the time limit.

i also watched iron chef and was amazed by her recipes. the more info i read on her the more im impressed.
i want to eat at prune the next time i visit new york

i want her Zuchini recipes from Iron Chef vs Hamilton on July 20, 2008 they looked wonderful.
