The final chapter chapter has arrived. This is the 300 foot (100 yard / 91.44m) Card Shoot using a Stag Arms AR-15 w/ 16.5 inch barrel with CMMG 22LR Conversion bolt & mags.

This video is dedicated to those who follow Jesus Christ, the truth, our republic, and the citizen/patriots who follow the constitution set forth by our founding fathers.

Background:
At one time I started messing around with shooting playing cards in half with my Springfield XD-M 9mm. I then tried it using my AR-15 w/ CMMG 22LR conversion bolt. The distances started out short (10 feet) then grew from there. 10 feet, 20, 100, 150, then I decided to go for 300 feet. Why? Well someone commented that I should try 300 feet - it was obviously meant as a joke and we all had a laugh, kind of like mentioning a bazillion dollars, but then I thot... why not try it?

I havent spent much time practicing for this 300 foot (100 yard) shoot - matter of fact I only practiced one other time and in 30 rounds I hit a card once. I knew that if I could do it once, I could hit a card multiple times, so I decided on 8-13-09 to try it for a second time.

This video is a record of what happened.

Conditions:
This was the best day I have ever had at my 'Rockie mountain shooting location'. It started out a little windy but it died down and a calm settled down on the range. The sun was at my back, the temp was nice and I was the only one there - no distractions, no worries, just me and the target at the end of the range.

I had just finished my graveyard shift and by the end of the shoot, I had been up for almost 24 hours. I was feeling pretty good at the beginning but then as time went on, I realized just how much you have to focus on everything - breathing, cheek weld, heart rate, sight picture, trying to do the same thing in everything & put those rounds down range & on target. I can tell you its very tiring and this shoot wore me out (especially when you have crappy ammo like remington gold bullet - at times I was cycling rounds every 2-4 times = IOW gold bullet sucks & I do NOT recommend it for the CMMG conversion bolt).

Anyway you can watch the vid and see what happens. I still havent been to sleep yet as I wanted to get this video out to you all.

Again thanks to everyone - all those who watched & encouraged me, who subb'd to my profile, commented & rated on my vids - this was for you.

Anyway enough rambling cause I really need to get some sleep (as you can tell).

Take care & God bless,

Steve

  • @SafeArmsReview You're a faggot.

  • @czownzor When a person resorts to swearing & nothing else, it shows the sum of their maturity & intelligence.

    Thanks for watching.

    ;)

  • he was missin till the camera angle changed then he started hitting all over the place.. well, all over the card.. FAIL

  • @42Keez Well I had a good time and yes I could have done better but I do need to practice more.

You can call it fail but its just shows me where I am and what I need to do to improve.

    Thanks for watching.

    :)

  • @SafeArmsReview I don't call it fail. I call it a 36 gr. bullet with 5-10 MPH wind at 100 yards. That's a tough shot, I don't care who you are!

  • @BassmanSW So very true - its a hard shot but with some practice anyone can do it.

    :)

  • @Mathijsken91 That's what I thought, how can such a cool guy support a republic that lies, taxes, imprisons and tortures people on a grand scale, and puts its boot in the face of third world country people and people at home. More people in US prisons than any other nation on earth. The Don't Tred on Me Flag has a whole different meaning for me... it means armed resistance and defiance against the state, not tacit support of it. After being tortured in a US prison, you see through the farce.

  • I wish I had a place to shoot like that close to me. And thanks for your videos man! They are a big help with training ideas and techniques. God bless!

  • "This is for all the patriots that support the republic."

    Why?

No one on YouTube is waiting for politics, we just want to enjoy a video :/

    Otherwise, nice vid ;)

  • Thanks for your videos and your enthusiasm. I just got mine today. Can't wait to shoot over the weekend. Now I can do more range time thanks for my new conversion kit. :)
