@UnicornArchie A Registered Nurse. You can Can be a Registered nurse with an AS/AA/ADN (basically, a associate's in science or arts) or one with a BSN (bachelor's of science in nursing). You become a RN once you take and pass the NCLEX-RN.

i want to be a NICU nurse i start my studies next year as im adding to my family at the moment. i have already started some of my studies but still need to do my health science and my bach of nursing i carnt wait to help other peoples wee ones.

the neonatal units are split into 3 levels. Level 1 is for healthy newborns and is almost non-existant now because healthy newborns stay with their mom's in their rooms. Level 2 is for babies who need oxygen or who are under observation or receiving meds intrveiniously.. Level 3 is the NICU where the babies are very ill and generally waiting for surgery and/or receiving treatment. I recommend that you go into pediatric nursing.

me toooo!!!! i want to work with new born babys like cleaning them up holding them right as they come out making sure everything is good and taking care of NEWBORN babies only but not so much intensive care you know!?
