On the way down, should I be in control of the kettle-bell going down or just let it swing down? Also, how do your sets/reps look like?

You should hike it back behind you. I will explain it in the new video. My reps and sets are all depending on the workout and size bell I'm using that day. Heavier I go less reps, Lighter more reps. These days I'm more about strength so I use a very heavy bell about 50-80% of my BW and go for 10-15 reps several times throughout my workout.

great demo and great camera angle (a crucial skill lost on most physical trainers that think a verbal walk-through and distant camera work is all that is needed). Thanks

So it's like a vertical jump but the force or momentum is transferred to the bell instead

Ah, awesome! This is probably the best video I've seen explain these. I JUST started trying them today and now I see I was going too low to the ground and doing more of a squat. Things just didn't *feel* right, so I knew I needed more info, rather then just watching other people. Thanks so much for posting this.

Due to the discoveries of systems like Z Health we now know that looking forward is not advantageous. Breaking a neutral spine is pretty much never recommended for any activity--even the RKC switched up their rules, even though it's not always enforced. I have no trouble keeping a neutral spine and not creating curvature in my back. Good tutorial otherwise though.
