A month on and the BP off-shore rig spill is still flowing into the Gulf of Mexico. Rust colored oil has washed into marshlands and the Mississippi river, endangering wildlife and nature reserves on the American coastline. Big business seems reluctant to take responsibility for the clean up and locals fear they are on the brink of a ecological disaster.

  • When your silly messiah, elected on the strictly on the base of race and foreign money, leaves office in 2012 in disgrace to his race (whatever the hell it is), he will leave behind oily footprints behind. You who help elect this inept and inexperienced agitator to the highest office of our land, you too have oil on your hands.

  • @ButtErBaLL619 as for them enjoying other activities ?. they should, because a paranoid person with no time to relax will not be good for us and will lead to future fuck ups. they said bush sat on his ass and i rather a man think what to do then rush in. how many things can one man do when we are at war ? the coast guard failed both times not our presidents. open your eyes and stop blaming one person when others are actually hired for this.

  • Americans have no memory and hire an army of apologists to assure their population remain ignorant of any inconvenient truth.

Thus it will be BP that is demonized and when the people of the region all fall over with cancer or worse they will pave over their bones with another Walmart parking lot. within 10 years people will have no memory of it except the families of those that breathed in the Benzene clouds who were to poor or ignorant to move their families out of there.

  • @fog0death Why didn't Obama reinstate them, after all he had more than a year and full support of the house and senate.

  • @4NorthTL It's the same people who blamed Bush for Katrina. But at least Bush wavered the Jones act.

  • @fog0death Now that these safety protocols were abolished. The new president wouldnt have the courtesy or reenforce those? Did he forget ? Did he not care? Obama is the man in charge. If he really gave a shit about the safety protocals he would've done something about it . But leaving it alone then when shit hits the fan is no excuse to blame past presidents. America is silly because of people like you who blame others.

  • Seriously, are people stupid saying this is Obama's fault or what? I don't even know what to say to that, and I'm really not huge on Obama, people are so stupid these days. I guess it's stupid people blaming the president for this that is the reason things like this happen in the first place though. They were probably the ones in charge of this operation in the first place.

  • @yourboycal Because Cheney and Bush are the reason safety protocols were abolished. All countries have safety protocols incase such things as this happen, however Cheney wanted to remove this and Bush agreed. They must've wanted oil drilling as fast as possible and they didn't want to spend the extra money for the defences.

  • Fucking British.......

  • @fog0death blame cheney and bush ? Obama is in charge right now cupcake. Obama already admit he is in charge of this and bp is under his administration. Why would obama say this ? Why would i blame cheney and bush for obamas failure?

  • President Obama needs to take charge. No more tours or 'frank conversations' get a plan in place to stop the flow of oil! Watch this video - youtube.com/watch?v=FFUGv0iffe0
