Microvision ShowWX Pico Projector - From CES 2010 unveiled

Heres a quick video I shot of one of the coolest gadget at CES Unveiled. Its a pico projector from a company called Microvision which is named the ShowWX. It is showing video footage here from an
iPhone. As you can see it is not much bigger than the phone but the quality of the images are excellent. Expect to see it in the UK later in the year.

ok it looks cool projecting it on the wall but how can you hear the sound???

It's important to note that those black bands show up only on video but not at all in real life. Microvision's projector has far and away the best picture quality. Vibrant, DVD quality images with low power consumption and no need to focus.

I wish they would use variable shutter speed video cameras for these demos - so they could synch with the scan rate of the projector and not show that crazy black band flickering, which is not visible while viewing live ...

LOVE the showwx, hope it doesn't exacerbate "death by powerpoint" syndrome

You need to see it up close and personal to appreciate just how small, and yet how good this projector is

Doing PowerPoint presentations from my iPhone is now possible :)
