Standing in a medical exam room, a neurosurgeon in a white lab coat stares solemnly into the camera and warns that President Obamas health care plan will hurt our seniors. This ad written by political commentator Dick Morris -- one of dozens of health care spots making the rounds -- provides a case study in modern American political advocacy. It shows how a quickly assembled group with uncertain origins and funding can make a mark on one of the most contentious public policy debates in memory.
haha ,dick.

I'm all for elimination of Medicare, Medicare, and SCHIP along with 30% cut on military spending. More money in my pocket. Fuck senior citizens; why should I care about your God damned health care when I can't afford my own. Why? Can somebody explain to me why I am being forced to contribute to the "payroll" taxes to pay for some old fart's health care, i.e. Medicare? I can care less if that old woman dies at the corner of her home; all I care is my own and my own alone.

What he has just shown you is a young, recently certified neurosurgeon, who likely has over a half-million dollar dept in student loans and who doesn't want to receive a pay cut. How about a retired doctor with no deep financial problems who is a senior? What would he have to say?

Torte reform first! The victims in our system are the healthcare providers. We send our children to Law school instead of Med school. What other profession can they become so rich so fast for so little work? This is the only thing that will increase quality and availability of health services. The first thing tackle is where punitive damages go. Right now it goes to the lawyer and injured party. This is money neither has earned or deserves. This is money better spent on the uninsured.
