S-Rank requirements:
Time: 5:00
Red orbs: 700
I did Mission 21 a heck of a lot quicker than I thought I would: after practicing for a bit, I got it on my first serious try. Hence this mission is a bit of mixed bag, but hopefully the good parts make up for the botched parts :p
I used Alastor for the Nobodies, because I was so damned bored of the "Inferno, then grenade-roll" approach I *always* take against these cute'n'cuddly creatures of the Underworld. And I think it worked quite well - it was something a bit different, at any rate.
That's a *whole* blue orb you pick up in the Secret Mission, by the way - so even if you don't want to complete the SM fully, I suggest taking a stop to pick up the blue orb.
In the last room of the dungeon, I took a shortcut, bypassing the dinosaur, 4 Frosts (there are up to 4 Frosts on Hard/DMD mode) and the annoying moving eye platforms :p ... It's easy to do, too, and should be self-explanatory: you just need about 7 DT runes. When grabbing hold of the first ledge, btw, all you press is L1 to de-DT: Dante will grab hold of the edge automatically and haul himself up. That's the only remotely tricky bit, and even that's not very hard.
At the end of it all, I got a Bangle of Time for my troubles which I won't even use =p ... (Well, perhaps I'll try and find a use for it in Mission 23: I'll see). The BoT, if you don't already know, consumes your DT to freeze time: during this time you can damage stopped enemies with non-DTed attacks. It's best used in conjunction with super Dante, but has its uses with regular Dante, too, if you're so inclined.
Mission 21 itself went okay, though I had a bit of trouble getting through the first set of tentacles: look, I got through them quicker in practice, okay? :p ... Incidentally, by far the easiest way of getting through the tentacles damage-free is to walk through the middle of them, blasting E&I, but I was too lazy to switch between E&I and the grenade gun.
In the room with the two Plasmas, for some reason my grenade gun shots kept on missing the 2nd Plasma - that didn't happen in any of my practice tries =/. That was a bit annoying and frustrating, but I lost the plot even more on the very first rising platform: I *had* meant to do a slightly tricky Air Hike over to the ledge with the red vase: instead I just took a random jump off; y hello thar, life-draining lava below :p ... Fortunately, I came to my senses *just* in time and was able to double jump back onto the platform: but yeah: I got a bad attack of nerves at that point.
The rest of the mission went fine; I equipped the shotgun at the end. You'll see why in the very next mission :p
So, I finally have a maxed LDK! I have 10 DT runes and two full lifebars. I've picked up virtually all of the available items, too: 7 yellow orbs; 7 Holy Waters, 6 Devil Stars - there just remains one Untouchable left to collect, to make 5 in total. All twelve of the Secret Missions are finally done, too. Only Mundus left to face, and he is always a tough, cheap bastard...
Man, the colon of that nobody must be raw and bloody now.

I'm a month late with this reply, so hopefully you've solved it by now... :-/
...'Cos I don't know where you mean. I can't think of any forest. Or crossroads. 'Purple clouds' could be the poison gas in the blue emblem shield room, I guess. If you're *still* stuck, holler :p
