@pogoism1 i think your historical point of view is wrong sir. they didn`t come from heaven. kurds are part of diffrent ancient nations that made great civilization such Achaemenian and named their own country as Iran. and they had/have common cultural things...but nowaday you just judge base on the diffrent languages. Farsi and pahlavi and kurdi and guilaki and armani and tabari and talashi and taati have same origins. but some politicians prefer to separate and ignore those cultural unity.

@zaagatoo :) Primary we are Kurds, secondly turkish, iranian, iraqi or syrian because our land got splitted by these states.
could u understand? we are one peole with 3 nationalities.
silav û rêz

@pogoism1 kalhor is an iranian kurd. kurdistan is part of iran and kurd people are iranian. could u understand? it`s not a different nationality.

@hsherani2011 what do u mean buddy? he sings " beshno az nay chon hekayat mikonad az jodaaa`i ha shekayat mikonad" ...etc ... it`s a pure persian (farsi) that people speaks every where in iran. afghanistan was a part of iran and it`s great khorasan till 300 years ago ... who is nashenas?!!!! its mowlana jalaleddin who was an iranian poet and aaref.
-
What you meant by Afghan?? Turks say Mawlana is Rumi and you say his poem is Afghan!? common.. The language is Persian (Farsi).. regardless of the Geography.. it's all about language..culture..whatever.. all is Persian..Afghans speak Persian as well.. Dont forget to consider this fact..

Words and song are soothing - singer has a very mellow quality to his voice; easy to relax and flow with..

thank you for your good comments pogoism1

both the poem and and the song is Afghan (song by Nashnas), I don't know why every body ignores Afghanistan in everything. Listen to the same song by nashnas or nashenas and the poem is by Mawlana balkhi

@hsherani2011: I think no one "ignores" the origin of the song but sometimes we do not have all necessary information ready because of knowledge lack. So, thank you for the information! - Regards. - ** Tiad **

whats the meaning of "nay"?

Ney (also nay, nye, nai) is a wind instrument. An end-blown flute that figures prominently in Persian, Turkish, and Arabic music. It is a very ancient instrument (ca. 5000 years)...

@tiad
Especially because Kalhors origin is kurdish, it's very disrespecting not to mention the kurds.
Especially because Ney is far spread in kurdish regions

@pogoism1: Thanks for your comment. I had no "intension to disrespect" kurds. Nationality is not important for me. The music brings us beyond those barriers. So, I also didn't mention that Pejman Hadadi is from Iran or Sandeep Das from India. Just relax and listen to the music!
