He was some dude, this George C Marshall. I had my doubts about him over the bombing of Hiroshima & Nagasaki, but his logic was impeccable....lose 1 million US serviceman invading Japan, or kill 200 thousand Japanese civilians instead.....man, may I never have to face such a decision in my nondescript life...he was a giant among mortals...thanx George..I dips me lid to ya, old son....
