according to the app page, the next version will have voice control. I'm gonna buy it as soon as I can get enough space on my phone :P See how it handles tomorrow

Unknown. Why does Apple disallow 90% of the things they do? The important thing is that the new 3.0 OS update next month WILL allow full-fledged GPS with voice navigation.

That's because of Apple's strict SDK policy...not because of G-Map.
In the newest update, G-Map will feature "alarm effects" sounds instead of voice prompting. Until Apple eases up, this is as good as it gets for GPS geeks.
