:) yes it is possible to improvise on any instrument!  To improvise on piano well is quite difficult though. but worth while!

some of us live in a country where even to purchase the online piano course is not a direct option due to shipment issues (I wanted to buy Yoke Wong's course). I am currently enrolling in a piano class but the knowledge I get from your posting is worth so much more than was taught to me the past 4 years.

OK, this is now my goal in life. It really bugs me that I look down at the keys. I need to discipline myself.

I have a HUGE habit of looking at my hands when I try to sight read, so I always lose my place, and it's a sort of special torture. But your lesson was an inspiration for me to change this very bad habit. I spent some time this evening just trying to feel the keys very carefully and ask myself what was feeling. It's sort of like getting adjusted to being blind.
