and windows 7 copied KDE4's widget style, and desktop sticky notes... Copies goes on both way... And KDE4 is much more stable than any version of windows. But the desktop cube and the wobbly windows aren't even windows ideas, but KDE have them. First see from Microsoft something that is stable and easily setuppable like kwin composite, then afterwards, Microsoft can tell me, what was a copy. I won't tell, that they copied linux's stability, they just made it work

When or where did you see circular windows 7 taskbar, or changing all in the media player mode? -_-

Copied? 'They'. Do you really know what you are talking about.
This is a 'dock'. If anything it has been copied from OSX which has had a dock for years and years.
In terms of the UI KDE can be anything you want it to be. You can move / remove taskbars, panels etc. You can install extra components (the video above).
KDE4 being based on plasma, kwin, solid etc is totally different then Windows. You should not really compare the two in terms of looks or functionality.

Not again! I know someone will hate me for saying this:
The linear dock is just again a copy of windows taskbar. Like in KDE4.1 where they copied win Vista they now copied windows7. Honestly, get your own ideas.

Hi there
Daisy is actually inspired by the OSX dock. Superbar looks good on Windows, but I still prefer the look of OSX. For that I've tried to make something similar that would bring the looks of Mac OSX to KDE. Daisy is my attempt to accomplish just that. A lot of features are still missing, and as, in all alpha software it's not stable yet.
Thank you for your interest and for taking the time to comment. :)
Regards.
