HMS Cumberland - F85 inbound to the Port of Tyne, North East England on 4th March 2010. Photographed from Western Quay, North Shields.

Tugs assisting : Svitzer Maltby and Rowangarth.

Cumberland is making a courtesy visit to the Tyne and berthed at Northumbrian Quay.

She is to participate in the Admiral Lord Collingwood 2010 Festival on 7th March 2010 by firing a 19 gun salute in an exchange of firing from field guns from 101 Regiment Royal Artillery on shore. Should be quite a sight and not forgetting sound!

  • Well filmed, super, well done. I would say you used a tripod, beats having the camera go all over the place!

  • @barnacleify Yes indeed - I very quickly learned that it was far too shakey for me to use a camcorder without a tripod.

  • Thanks for the comments - the sound trackmis one of the free one's available from YouTube.
