that's the beauty of golf. no right or wrong. One of the "ugliest" swings was controlled by one of the best ball strikers ever in the game. funny how that works ay

  • Nice stuff. Too bad they didn't have "CBS SwingVision" back then to capture more frames of his swing. Thanks for posting.

  • He benefits from a shorter than normal upper body and longer legs in disproportion.

  • Cannot believe how far his club head is from the ball at address... (0:22)...easily half a meter away. Don't think I've ever seen anyone else do that, ever.

  • His right arm is dominant in the swing. I heard him say that in a clip and I went out and tried it. It works Takes a little getting used to though.

  • give him credit for having his own swing not just copying someone elses. Played on the tour which none of u haters can say.

  • @emems87 actually he is probably one of the straightest hitters the game has ever seen; it ain't pretty and it aint orthodox, but nobody can hit the ball like norman (well maybe hogan can).

  • His swing suucks.

  • I tried to replicate the move done by Mr. Norman between 1 min 23 seconds and 1 min 26 seconds in the video. How can he place his left wrist 90 degrees down while facing the ball at the same time. It looks like his hip pivot put him in that position and then hi just use his right elbow joint to complete the follow through. Any thoughts?

  • If that ball was any further away moe would need to get his binos out.

  • Moe really drops his right shoulder. Whenever I do this I ground the club about 4 inches behind the ball. The thing that Moe also does is keep his extended almost completely parallel with the shaft of the club. Maybe this is what allows him to move his right should down as far as he does.

  • Looks like does the forward press
