  • I too have no curl pattern and if I'm honest sometimes it's annoying. I wish there was more on here for people like us (not mixed race) to get tips. Can't even do a wash go. Kmt.

  • @DawnieM I really can't do a wash and go! I look like someone dumped a bucket of water on my head!

  • Everyone has different hair but I know one thing that is worth trying is putting small rods on your two strand twists. It forces your hair into shape. When I set mine, I use EcoStlyer gel and Shea Moistures Curling Enhancing Smoothie.

  • @MesaIsaGoddess I bought some SheaMoisture Products on Thursday! So whenever I take out these kinky twists, I'll begin to use them! And I will definitely try your suggestion :)

  • Good to hear! I am a witness, it gets better. When I first cut my hair I was like "What is this peachfuzz". I got micros for two years until I was comfortable with the length. I figured out I love twistouts using the kimmaytube leave-in conditioner, it provided moisture and I could rock it up to two weeks. I didn't see a curl pattern at first it came later. It will become easier as you get a routine in place and find out your signature style :)

  • @nunya33763 And I finally came up with a mini routine/ regimen. I'm going to continue to use the SheaMoisture line. Saturdays will be wash days. Every night I will braid up and moisturize my fro to keep it from being detangled. I may wear mini two strand twists some of the week. And rock a curly fro because of them on Friday so my hair can breathe before wash day! Took my nearly two years to finally have a regimen I'm happy with!

  • embrace the beauty that is within you. easy for me to say, because my hair texture is different from yours, but everyone has something with their hair...which is why the hair industry is $multiBillion. bentonite clay with raw apple cider vinegar is great for clarifying curls! try it-whole foods stores! avoid heat (flat irons, etc) this tends to permanently loosen some people's curl pattern (heat damage). good luck :-)

  • Hey I use to think the same thing :) but I was wrong! Check out my channel msfaserious. I tried to post the link but couldn't. I hope my video helps or leads u to one that will.

  • Sounds like a good mini/routine. I love the Shea Moisture line. I use the Curl and Style Milk almost every night for adding moisture and my twist.

  • @DKennyPie First thing first... DON'T GIVE UP lol! Sounds simple but it's hard! All you can do is keep going. It's truly a learning process. I'm officially over that fact that my hair has no curl pattern. So just work with what you've got :) Good luck & God Bless!

  • After all these years looking at Youtube I finally found someone with the same hair texture as mine,it is such a relief I found your channel. I also have NOOOOO CURL, NO BEND, NO WAVE no nothing and everytime I get to the 6th or 7th month mark I big chop because its soooo thick. I love being natural and I've come to grips with my texture but I cant keep the momentum, can you give any words of ecouragement?
