hey man, im using aircrack-ng in ubuntu 10.10. on my netbook, it has an atheros chip set, it works right out of the box with packet injecting. my question is how in the hell are you getting packets so quickly. mine take like an hour or 2 just to get 70,000 packets ? please let me know how to speed this up, btw awesome video man

could be your distance from your AP or your wireless card.

I'm using the wireless card that come standard with the Asus EEE PC 900.
If you're that concerned with compatibility issues, go on amazon.com and buy a wireless card designed to work with backtrack that supports packet injection. newegg also carries these. Some of these for $70 can reach 5 miles. Money well spent, free wifi for life.
