I would have so scared and shocked, I would have stood there.. I can't imagine but I have a cousin that was over there in that area and He lived in Harlem at the time and it took him so long to get home and my grandmother too. she lives around the corner from us. I was in school and a little after 9 am my teacher got a call from her friend about it and we were scared. i was only 7.

so sad indeed.... to this day .. I can not believe we stayed in our building for as long as we did. I think we were just in shock and could not take our eyes off the horrible scene.
