is it possible to turn the release down on these ensemble synths? because I love the sound of the Vibrato at the end but I was just wondering if you could turn the release time down so when you let go the sound stops for e.g.
Cheers, Phil

@skalkmusix will never happen. I have a friend who works for Roland and has pitched the idea to them. Release a limited run of a classic instrument every year etc. They dont wanna know...

@jordanpassmore My 2008 vidoes were shot with a JVC HD7 which has a stereo mic input. I had to bump the line level down with a mixer, but either I didn't bump it don enough or the camera's auto-compensate messed with the levels. Most of my 2009 & 2010 videos were shot with my old Sony VX-2000 which has a stereo mini jack input with selectable gain (mic/line). I sold the 505 shortly after making this video, but I've since acquired another (and a 101) and might make a new video - so stay tuned!

The ensemble in this unit is the circuits from a Dimension D. If you plug an input into the rear panel you have instant Dimension D sounds at half the price.

I've heard both the the ensemble effect IS and ISN'T the same as the SDD-320. Anyhow, with RS-505's selling for over $1200 and SDD-320's selling for under $800, it's hardly half the price.
