Im 11, i can do it whith my mouth closed and open. Its not correct to do it with your mouth closed as it is more of a "squeak".

LOL...it's funny because when I was 7 she first came out with her first single and I didn't sing high much and this is how I started doing the high notes...with my mouth closed. I can sing the high notes pretty good with my mouth open now, so if you keep practicing, you might get it...you are young and your voice still has some maturing to do so DON'T GIVE UP! By the way, I'm Mariah's biggest fan just like you! : ) I wish you the best!

i dont wanna sound mean but u talk a lot.....very nice whistle anyways.....keep practicing and try do it with your mouth open so it will sound more clear....minnie ripperton can do it both ways....!
