I am Dominican, and I have seen how important these men feel every time they start dating women visiting the country. Whatever happened, I just want for you to close that chapter. I'm glad you got over what he said because that is hurtful what he said but he is a typical dominican man and he is ignorant I'm dominican my self. what i can say is that your very brave for going to the palos party because those party get pretty serious very fast.

Thanks for the view into your trip. Surprisingly enough, there will always be people like that, no matter what country you are from or in, what language you speak or the tone of your skin. I try to use those moments as a way to measure how far I've traveled in my life and hope that a higher power will watch over the person/s with the words or actions to help them through their travels. We are still growing and learning!!
