@Samie90100 I apologize if you did not hear my instruction prior to class starting. I, too am a former dancer, fitness competitor, personal trainer; former professional cheerleader- I teach with energy so I can motivate those taking my class to give it back. Zumba is a party...none of us are there to be evaluated. We are there to ENJOY working out. Your "feed back" would have been more than welcomed after you attend my ONE class that day.

@Samie90100 Are you a licensed Zumba Instructor? If you were; you would know that we have freedom to choose our own music an choreography. We are only required to use 70% latin in our classes. If you are referring to any "hip-hop" type of songs; those actually are still latin; it's reggaeton. You will find reggaeton in any zumba class. Pitbull is a big part of Zumba. Low Impact Options? I give the same instructions at the beginning of class which are about impact and fitness level.

@Samie90100 -I must respond to your negative comments.- "absolutely no cue was given"? Did you watch this very video in which you are blasting me on? Plenty of cues; notice how the entire class is following along? I apologize if class started late; my classes follow behind others most days of the week; so yes if they run behind so do we. "Minimal Latin" ( I am just using this video as reference) but most of these songs here are direct music & choreography from Zumba.

Awesome video! We have such an amazing group that just love to have a good time! I'll watch the video again & get the song at 10:33! :) Zumba love.
I took Crissy's class ONCE. First, the class started close to 20 minutes late! No low impact options where offered, absolutely no cue was given. Also, very minimal Latin, it mostly seemed like a hip hop class. Cool down was brief; hamstrings were stretched for a whopping 2 seconds. My qualification to critique? Retired 20 years in the Fitness Industry, Examiner for AFAA, ACE Certification, Former Dancer. Directed at several gym's. Instructors should teach as if they are being evaluated!

@Samie90100 - I respect your opinion of Crissy's class but I disagree 100% she is very attentive to her class and if you know anything about Zumba the instructor leads with her hips and feet not her mouth. If you are a decent dancer you can catch on quick. Class runs late maybe 2-3 mins due to her having twins to take care of, so be understanding but most of the time she is on point. You may not understand her style of Zumba is a lot of hip hop latin based. Pit Bull is in every class.

@Samie90100 But the one thing you do not do as a fellow instructor is bad mouth another. You always build your girls up not tear them down.

@brendabear123 - No that is the normal class, we all go so much the steps come easy after a while. Believe it or not that is about only half the people. Between all her class there, I think it is roughly 100 that go consistently at least once a week. Most of us are 3-4 times a week. Crissy is an amazing instructor. I picked up the dances in about 1-2 weeks. She is always adding a new one in on us though.
