One more thought, Composers like R.D & A.R Rehman are being worshipped so much by today's generation. However, the Foundation of India Film music has been laid by like of Naushad, S-J, S.D, Madanmohan, O.P Nayyar & Roshan. So sad to see people forgetting these legends. A.R Rehman is very ovverrated.

@dineshmillenium, Milahi1935, skramchandani72, All friends who have posted here I fell connected to all of you as we are all swayed away by Rafi Sahib's voice. This song/Ghazal is a jewel in Indian Film Music. I like your comment (Milahi1935) about Rafi sahib being second to just Noor Jaha. I haven't heard much of NoorJehan being raised up in India, I hope your are right BUT for me he is second to none & his was indeed voice from heavens.

Bhagwaan ka jab gaane ka man hua to usne Rafi Sahab ko apni awaaz dekar bheja, logon ko yeh bata paane ke liye agar main (bhagwaan) gaata to aise gaata.

This may be considered a ghazal as well as a song. Rafi could sing ghazals as good as the ghazal specialists.

The softness and range combined by such a sweet voice was the miracle of all times. Rafi is the greatest male singer of all times, second to noor jahan for the all time best of both sexes.

rafi sahab ka kya kehna. he is the god of music. there was everything in his voice. softness, romance, sadness, feelings, expression etc. and the yesteryear stars were also too good. now-a-days actors are expressionless. their expressions are on their 6 pack abs. tks muvisonix for the gr8 upload. this is the way to woo a girl and not "12 min. mein pyar kiya re" like salman says. height of stupidity. pls upload beautiful songs like these. tks again.
