Responding to Station One for a reported Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries & Extrication needed. Nothing much to it, just flashing lights at 3:15 in the morning. Haha.

@Thefirefighter2631 we are allowed red's, but a lot of people here run red/clear. now you also have to have ff1, evoc, insurance, registration, license of course, lights, siren, and a signed paper from the chief, and then go to the fire marshall to get approved for a light & siren permit...

@dab45de Some states/departments require if you pov with lights you have to run a siren. If I remember correctly, where this guy lives if you pov you have to run lights and siren regardless of time/traffic. I wish lights were all people needed but most don't even pay us any attention with lights and sirens including our firetrucks... I've had people block my firetruck in running lights, siren and Q2... There is no way in hell they didn't see me or hear me.

I dont understand. 3:15AM and your running sirens? Theres not even that much traffic. Lights would have been the better thing to run. Here, we dont even run sirens on the actual trucks unless theres traffic after 10pm.
