chakra breathing meditation - exercise with music
chakra is a Sanskrit word, that is translated as "wheel" or "turning".
chakra is a concept referring to wheel-like vortices, which according to traditional Indian medicine, are believed to exist in the surface of the etheric body of man.
the chakras are said to be "force centres" or whorls of energy permeating, from a point on the physical body. rotating vortices of subtle matter, they are considered the focal points for the reception and transmission of energies.
the original information on chakras comes from the Upanishads, and difficult to date, because it is believed to have been passed over across generations for approximately a thousand years, before being written down for the first time somewhere 1200-900 b.c.
