  • damn if only my 02 6speed max didnt burn shitloads of oil i still would of had it

    miss the vq power.

  • @andytaurus Yea thats their downfall, I pray mine doesn't start eating oil like crazy

  • @andytaurus i dont hink they burn oil if bluish smoke wasentt coming out of the tail pipe then you probably just needed an oil pan gasket

  • @bignin102 there is too many causes for them to start burning oil

  • Took on a 7th gen Maxima in my '02 Maxima (4AT, test pipe, gutted airbox) from a freeway roll (80 or so) and I put several car lengths on him to 120. I've heard 6th and 7th gen Maxima owners bitch about the acceleration at higher speeds, guess they have a valid complaint.

  • @Scottwax No you didn't boss

  • @bignin102 lol oil pan gasket?

  • CVT AINT SHIT....2000SE took down many 7th gen maximas my 2,3 gear is a killllller......

  • NICE!

  • Scottwax, listen buddy your such a fucking liar I swear. You probably raced a old guy that didn't know what means flooring the gas pedal. Send me a PM I'm in sheepshead BK allday I'll blow the doors of your 4A/T lol. Ifuxwitu what do you say lol!

  • Just curious if anyone with a STOCK 5.5 gen is walking 7 Gens? I haven't actually raced a 5.5. I had a 5 (2000 SE) with only minor suspension and 18" rims off a 6th gen, and traded it in on a 2010 SV sport last year. The CVT tranny doesn't have that urgency off the line like the old one, but once at redline, it goes mad. I haven't had it much over 120 with the lack of straights where I live, but have read about the 130 mph limiter.

  • You were in the wrong gear for a 40 roll. Should of started in 2nd......

  • @Scottwax send me a pm im in NY im sure you will stop talkin shit like your car is boosted.

  • @Scottwax send me a pm im in NY ill spank your shit

  • @russiansoldier7 Yeah, I did. Look at some of the acceleration videos of the 7th gen Maximas and how they taper off bad after 85 mph or so. Now that I have a 6 speed 5.5 gen, I'll be hunting 7th gen Maximas from any speed.

  • @bignin102

im sorry its "uses oil" no blue smoke just gets used up...very common problem for the vq35de engines the vq30de were great dont know what happend with these 3.5 liters....its said that faulty piston rings are to be the blame..theres people and forums all over with everything from maximas to 350z even g35's that complain of the vq35 using oil..

  • @russiansoldier7

yeah sucks i woulda of keep mine if i wasnt adding a quart of oil every 800 miles or so

althought the car was great otherwise bought it with 70k and got ride of it with a little over 100k and beat the hell out of it and never did a thing besides add oil. its a shame that car was fast for what it was miss it a lot lol.

  • manual kicks ass everytime

  • dammmm that 2010 maxima got smoke...by a 02 maxima lol!!!!!!!

  • @NorgePrecision thats what you get for racing with an auto.

  • @murdertriplexx If you mean let off the gas pedal by having a CVT, then yes.

  • it is 1sik lol

  • That looks like 1sik.

  • the max got i/h/e with nwp spacers and block plate with no tune...more to come
