That's where I grew up and no matter who owns the title, the land belongs to me, is part of me and I part of it. We used to play in the mud flats and get dirty. We lived on berries and fish. No borders can confine it, so I am extending it to everyone. For that I am no better or worse, just another part of my earth that I am!

Why are there short struts between the main struts and wing?

It's Dad's experimental plane. I think it started out as a J3 but he wrecked it and re-built the wing from scratch and modified a few things. The short struts might have been standard or he may have added them later to reduce vibration. I hadn't noticed before.
