This weekend a World War 2 Veteran and Modesto, California resident, James Lowell Hammons was laid to rest after having passed away at the age of 92 last week.
James Hammons was on of the few World War 2 veterans and war heros amongst us in Modesto, California and Modesto News .org was there in order to bring you the military funeral service provided by our local chapter of the V.F.W. (Veterans Of Foreign Wars)
James married soon after the war and stayed with his wife for more than 50 years until his death. Her name is Rubye and she remembers him today with a heavy heart.
James and Rubye adopted a one son in their youth and that son grew to have 2 children of his own and 3 grandchildren so far.
Modesto News .org takes this opportunity to official thank James Lowell Hammons for his years of military service and for his dedication to his family and the Modesto community.
