Tiffin Avenue fires

Findlay fire officials responded to three suspicious fires this morning, two of which heavily damaged two fast food restaurants.

The first fire reported to the Findlay Fire Department was at 2:51 a.m. at Wendy's, 500 Tiffin Avenue. A second structure fire was reported at 4:09 a.m. at Burger King, 1700 Tiffin Avenue. Fire Chief Tom Lonyo says both structures sustained heavy damage.

Fire officials say a dumpster fire near Best Buy outside the Findlay Village Mall also was reported at about the same time they were responding to the Burger King blaze.
