Love it!!! I agree best car in the world. Used to have a '55 Oval and still miss it to bits. Built like a bloody tank those things are, go on forever if properly cared for.

You'd have to wax it from time to time to keep it looking like that - just taking an 8-year-old car to a car wash every so often wouldn't have it looking quite so spiffy.

And the way people would know that your car was old would be by the shape of its rear window - duh. VW people noticed things like that, even back then.

@102. There are turn signals on the top of the fenders. Ovals didn't have turn signals there. Ovals had bullet blinkers on the lower fender and or, lighted door pillar mounted semaphores.
