Herbie Hancock and Lang Lang rehearse Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody" at Herbie's home in preparation for a world tour.

Following their 2008 Grammy highlight performance of "Rhapsody in Blue," it seemed only natural that the pair would bring their unique backgrounds to an even greater collaboration on the world stage.

Expect an unprecedented tour from the Montreux Jazz Fest in Switzerland through France, Germany, the Netherlands, England, Italy and across the USA in the summer of 2009.

  • You complete fucking idiot, they are enjoying themselves, it is not like they knew this would be uploaded. This is the exact point of music, if you are missing that then I suggest you forget about music altogether. It was by 'musical masturbation' that Horowitz formed his legendary take on this piece. They are in ecstacy, enjoying the joys of just playing together and bonding over the piano. Jesus some people drive me bloody crazy, this is a true masterpiece, it was made with love.

  • lol you need to lighten up... realize they're having fun... everything doesn't have to be serious all the time

  • Great

  • Crazy men laugh at the end was epic! Insane musical language!

  • This is almost exactly the original piece, it is just messy, hence the rehearsal.

  • If you knew the original music, you could get the joke in this. I like this impression of how two real musicians prepare for the stage.

  • Pure joy !! Love it and love them! only great can do it!

  • ... almost no point, right: I love any kind of good music and these 2 guys are amazing. But when you drop ALL melody and leave also just a faint trace of rythm, then it gets confusing. This piece gets to the limit, not cacophonic, though

  • Thanks for posting this! Hillarious... pure joy to listen to. The 'cacophony' comments amaze me. It seems as if some people don't get what musical communication is all about. Almost no point in explaining then.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Great.
